LMS Training Workshops

You and your colleagues are invited to participate in an excellent Professional Learning Opportunity for educators who are ready to embrace 21st century learning technologies. Learn how to effectively use the Moodle learning management system and Mahara e-Portfolio system through our interactive workshops. Join us on 29 March to 1 April 2010 at Brisbane Girls Grammar School. You may attend any or all of the workshops. Limited seats. Subject to availability.

Day 1 is aimed for those evaluating learning management systems or who are new to Moodle. Topics covered include LMS essentials, Moodle basics, course design, collaboration tools and assessment. Day 2 will extend those familiar with learning management systems, particularly Moodle. Topics covered include user management, grade book, data management, global settings and third party extensions. Day 3 is geared toward Mahara - this is an e-portfolio system, blogging platform, resume builder and social networking system. Day 4 is specifically for LMS administrators. Register now
